Elements of love

My love for her is as constant and unyielding as the earth,
as deep and turbid as the sea,
as bright and fervent as the flame,
as encompassing and vital as the air,
and as pure and vibrant as the soul.

Though earth breaks,
water dries,
fires fade,
air stales,
the soul lives on,
alone amidst chaos.
The soul of love never fades, dries, breaks, or stales.
Ever it lives on within.
Living off memory and dreams.

With hope earth can reform,
water can well up or rain down,
flame can rekindle,
air can flow pure and sweet,
for the soul of love will empower things thus.
Renewal takes time but the soul is patient, pure, and kind.
As a flower returns after drought, love springs back.

This and this alone is the hope in many hearts and minds.
Love is never lost, it is simply dormant.
